The Motorola Motonav TN765T 5.1-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator is a phenomenal, fantastic GPS navigator that helps find the things that make driving better than arriving. Instead of just getting you from here to there, it has features designed specifically to help you find out where there is!
Motorola Motonav TN765T 5.1-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator boasts some innovative and really helpful features like: a 5.1-inch cinematic display, intuitive search functions including Google™ local search, hands-free calling features, 3D landmark views, streaming traffic, and a whole lot more.
Your travel route and directions take center stage.
Thanks to the 5.1-inch cinematic display on the TN765t, you can access features without ever leaving the map. Sleek gliding panels slide in with a tap on the display. Both sides deliver everything you need, while your route stays front and center.
You choose whether you want a full map view or a split screen with added information. From the left, get information about the road ahead. From the right, get access to all the other features. Need to check traffic? Your route stays in view. Get a call from a friend? Your map isn’t going anywhere. With the TN765t, getting another feature doesn’t mean getting lost.

One of the popular websites that review GPS devices is PC Magazine. Here is what they had to say about Motorola Motonav TN765T 5.1-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator :
Pros: Map-centric interface is easy to use. Detailed map graphics. Brilliant POI search. Free lifetime traffic.
Cons: Some navigation-related snafus. Slow position lock-in. Google-powered services are only free for three months.
Summary: Motorola’s MotoNav TN765t is a full-featured navigator with an extra-wide screen and a killer interface; but some minor routing issues hold it back from true greatness.
Expert review website CNET Editors also was glowing in their review of the Motorola Motonav TN765T 5.1-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator
The MotoNav TN765t features updated hardware and an innovative new interface that combines the map and the menus. Bluetooth hands-free calling (with address book sync and voice dial), text-to-speech, and free FM-traffic reception are welcome additions to the MotoNav feature set. The MotoExtras service is a clever way to add data connectivity by using a Bluetooth-paired phone’s antenna to transmit.
The MotoExtras data service isn’t always on, so it must be manually refreshed for the latest info. GPS tracking in skyscraper-dense urban areas is a bit sketchy.
The bottom line: The MotoNav TN765t has a robust feature set that is on par with that of more-established brands and a beautiful interface that is, in many ways, superior.

User testimonials are also along the same lines, with many sharing their views on the popular online retailer Amazon.com’s website. Here is what one user has to say about the Motorola Motonav TN765T 5.1-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator
-
* Very good screen resolution compared to other GPS of this type
* Address search is way fast – 6 seconds to calculate a coast to coast trip
* Good screen brightness
* Thin and light
* Lots of extras, live search options, fuel prices and all else
* Very good map and junction detail
* Physical map overlay on the 2D views
* Easy to change between 2D and 3D view
* Good phone integration – works with an LG Dare
* Good phone contact search
* Good volume and easy controls – but there is a down side
* Very well rendered 3D landmarks – but there’s more to that too
* GPS lock on is very very fast. By the time it came up from cold the first time it was already locked on.
* The traffic receiver appears to be much more sensitive than the Garmin one
* Much better mount than Garmin or Tomtom, more reach, more adjustable and has locking joints.
And while a little more toned down, here’s what another buyer said about the GPS navigator model on Amazon:
Paying only 125 bucks was a total bargain. This GPS is one of the highest quality ones I’ve had. I’ve owned at least a dozen of Garmin, Magellan, Tomtom, Pioneer and Navigon. The map system uses NAVTEQ which is the same as Garmins.
The screen is extremely bright and the gps is a touch screen unlike most others you have to push it. So its similar to an iphone. The syncing with the iphone is flawless and the 3 months of motoextras is kinda cool but I really don’t use them. Speech works very well and the speaker is very loud. Lifetime free traffic is a plus. The most recent maps they have is Q4 2009 so I’m not sure they will update it any further since these aren’t a big sellers.
For the price its an amazing gps-its FAST (good processor), highly detailed graphics with topography (shows all hills, etc), a loud voice, excellent speech understanding and just a great gps. Buy it before it becomes unavailable.
